OH MY GOODNESS! DUBAI just speaks money for I know it’s mostly man-made, correct? Now, tell me this, please! Why was it that I saw no women in the pictures until I saw the pictures of the tennis game? Dubai is so colorful and yet everything looks brand new until I saw the boats. All I can say is “AMAZING”! It must’ve been a wonderful trip. One other thing I don’t understand is why would people go to these shows like an opera when they can see it at home? Also, buildings are huge and everything is so colorful. Fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing.
The modern part is, of course, man-made, mostly in the last 30 years. However, the old part still exists beside the creek where the old cargo boats unload, I can assure you there are as many women as men in Dubai, you just have to be a bit cautious when aiming a camera in their direction! However, I have just added some pictures taken in shopping malls and another on a beach which redresses the balance! As a lover of Opera, I just had to visit the Opera House. It is truly magnificent. The atmosphere, the acoustics and the facilities are simply amazing. Thanks for your thoughts.
Oh, one more thing this picture kind of reminds me of our Chicago downtown picture. It totally looks the same. We have the beaches too, but no palm trees. Those are in Hawaii…. hmmmmmmm
